Sutradhar was first published in 2013. Published twice in the year, Sutradhar is an E - magazine available in PDF format. The magazine is circulated widely on the internet, in English, not just within the Puppetry Community in India, but also worldwide. We also include the performance art community and many international web platforms in our list of readers.

It is the only Puppetry magazine of its kind in India.

 

The “Sutradhar”  provides a platform for discussion, discourse, sharing of ideas, critique of practices and policies. Many issues have been woven around the Master Classes held by Unima, with a view to document the same and share the process with a wider public.
